Schools reward scheme returns next week – with bonus points up for grabs!

The hugely popular Shop For Schools initiative returns to Mansfield’s Four Seasons Shopping Centre next week, and shoppers are being given more chances than ever to earn extra bonus points throughout the month-long event.

With 30 schools from across the region signing up in record time, Four Seasons Centre Manager Rebekah O’Neill said this year’s campaign was likely to be the most successful yet.

“We’re so excited by the response to this year’s call for local schools to take part,” said Rebekah. “Everyone in town seems to be getting behind Shop For Schools this year, so we’ve come up with some great and easy ways for people to earn even more points.”

Now in its thirteenth year, the scheme rewards Four Seasons shoppers with points vouchers which they donate to the participating primary school of their choice. At the end of the campaign, the school with the most points will win the first prize of £3,000 to help fund anything from new books and gym equipment through to training courses and computers.

Leas Park Junior School School received the £3,000 top prize last year, with Wynndale Primary School receiving the runner-up prize of £1,000.

“From the first day of the campaign, anyone taking out a book from Mansfield Library will receive an extra 10 points,” said Rebekah. “Of course we’ll also be awarding triple points every Sunday and on bank holidays, and with Easter falling within the campaign again this year, shoppers will have the chance to earn big.

“Not only that, but we’ve teamed up with the Chad again and will be printing special bonus vouchers over the coming weeks, so there’s more chances than ever to help your chosen school to win.

“It’s so easy for people to play their part and support the efforts of the schools,” she said. “For every £1 spent, shoppers will receive a points voucher which they can donate to their chosen school at our customer services desk.”

The 2017 scheme launches on Saturday, 18 March and will run until Tuesday, 18 April. For more information – including weekly updates on the competition, please visit www.fourseasonsshopping.co.uk.
