Santa’s elves take up residence at Four Seasons this Christmas

This year Santa has recruited a team of special elves as part of his visit to Four Seasons Shopping Centre, to host a series of free elf-inspired events where little ones can learn all the vital skills it takes to work with Father Christmas.

Starting on 23 November and running every Thursday until 14 December, ‘Festive Elf Fun at Five’ will be taking place at the centre, between 5pm and 8pm, and will include a different elf-themed activity every week.

Beginning with ‘how to create the perfect letter to Santa’, a host of Father Christmas’ real elves will be on hand offering advice with a visit from the main man himself who will be popping in to pick up the post to take back with him to the North Pole.

There will also be the opportunity to learn how to be an official ‘toy tester’ with little ones voting for the best toy of 2017 as well as the ‘do it your-elf’ task where youngsters will be able to decorate their own baubles to hang on their tree at home.

And as no festive season is complete without Christmas biscuits, all those little elves in the making will be able to design their very own delicious treat while enjoying a mince pie…or two.

Rebekah O’Neill, Four Seasons Centre manager, said: “Santa has kindly lent us his ‘elf-ful’ helpers to spread plenty of elfish joy this Christmas and will provide a great way to bring the local community together at this wonderful time of year. All the activities on offer will provide free fun for all the family as well as teaching some invaluable elf skills along the way.”

Four Seasons’ grotto is now officially open, and children meeting Father Christmas will receive a gift as well as the chance to have their photograph with him and his helpful elves.

Santa will be there every day up until Christmas Eve, admissions to see him are £4 per child and an extra £6.50 for a photo. For a full list of timings for the grotto and all the events taking place at the centre please go to
